I've never had a package lost, but occasionally one will take much longer
than usual.  I once received a package that had taken quite a journey thanks
to the USPS.  It was covered in stamps, the mailer was torn, and it had
taken over a month to get to me.  But to be fair, trades within the same
country, with 1st class postage, usually don't take more than a week.
