That's the way

Badgeholders,

Woke up this morning and the day started out as one of those horrid days.
Driving from my hometown to the radio station this afternoon to work I had a
very revelationous Zep experience. The two lane highway from my hometown to
the station twists and turns through the hills and forests of the Pacific
Northwest. Today is a gorgeous crisp fall afternoon. The sky is a solid
blue the sun is bright the air is cool and crisp and the evergreens are just
that. Driving to work with the window down and Zeppelin blasting on the
stero as usual, That's The Way poured out of my speakers. That's The Way
has never been one of my favorite songs from LZ III, but today, with the
trees whipping by at 60 mph, the sun glaring off the windshield and the air
crisp and clean, my horrid day vanished in the breeze. That's the way the
conditions must have been, when Robert and Jimmy wrote the song. Pure
nature. It clensed my soul and renewed my day. It's absolutely amazing! I
listened to it over and over again on my 25 minute drive, all the way to
work. I start my radio show in an hour and Im going to kick it off with
That's The Way. Maybe, just maybe, somebody out there will be affected like
I was this afternoon.

Rock on

Darwin
