HUB Music is stupendously proud to present a live chat with legendary Led
Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones! When the promo cassette of the new Led
Zeppelin: BBC Sessions arrived here at HUB Central and we popped it into
the tape player and cranked it up, the entire office (from the
15-year-old intern to the suited-up execs) started singing and dancing.
We're not kidding. Needless to say, Led Zeppelin is still one of the most
popular bands of all time. 

Atlantic Records releases this gem, The Led Zeppelin: BBC Sessions, a
double CD culled from the group's live performances on British radio in
1969 and 1971, on Tuesday, November 18 (the day after our chat). If
you're a die-hard Zepster, you might have the bootleg already (our cousin
Lenny gave us one back in '77). But you've gotta hear -- and hear about
- -- this baby.

John Paul Jones is sure to have countless amazing tales about his career
with one of the greatest rock bands of all time and lots of advice for
aspiring musicians. He can also tell us about his more recent projects,
which are no less impressive than his work with Zep.  He streched beyond
the confines of traditional rock-n-roll to record with ear-curdling
avant-vocalist Diamanda Galas in 1994.  But, for God's sake, the man is
still so thoroughly rock-n-roll (and punk!?), that he produced The
Butthole Surfers!
