Don't you see what she is trying to say? I'll put it in simple terms, this
has a lot more zep content then you beleive, or as I suspect, more then
you want to beleive.

People are sitting there saying "You like Harvey Sorgen as a drummer? You
obviously aren;t a drummer to like someone that lame" or things such  as
"Michael Falzarano as a guitarist? I am a guitarist and I know there is
better guitar then that"

I am using these two musicians (who I enjoy) so as to not associate them
with any one member on this list who gave a similar opinion.

What the list members above are saying is that they play guitar, therefore
only they can appreciate a true guitar player. or they play drums, so only
they can appreciate a good drummer....

Jean was pointing out that if she wrote for other writers, it would defeat
the purpose. If Mike Falzarano and Harvey Sorgen only played for other
musicians, what would be the point. Jean writes for writers and non
writers alike, and hopes along the way maybe she'll inspirte a couple of
others to be writers. Harvey and Michael play together with Jorma in Hot
TUna and hope that the music they make at least reaches out to a few fans,
and maybe even inspire some to be musicians.....and now the whole band is
running a guitar camp this summer in Ohio....but that's besides the point.

Jean was trying to point out why a drummers opinion on a drummer means no
more then a writers opinion on a drummer, or a painters opinion of a
drummer, it's all relevent.

you just contradicted yourself. SHe was just agreeing with Bruno's post
and explaining, if you don't like it delete it.

Well I give a rats ass. Hell I know there are people who don't give a rats
ass about some of my posts. And frankly I don't give a rats ass about the
one I am replying to, I feel I must just because I feel you've done  Jean
wrong.

I have dabbled in art, as well as dabbled in singing, however I do not
consider myself either, therefore I do not consider myself an artist, and
I do not think jean is dreaming.

And please tell us why your waste of space is anymore relevent? At least I
explained it's relevence to Zep, you just inspired more discussion on
something that, by your own admission, has no relevence to zep.

OK you can gfo start your own little moderated list for someone who thinks
your way, the whole idea of this list is to share opinions, share opinions
about how we shouldn;t share opinions, etc, so as far as I am concerned,
your post is just as welcome as Jean's, however I welcome Jeans and enjoy
Jeans, I welcome yours and don't enjoy it. Not to worry, this isn;t a
flame, but I don't see what the point is of trying to change everything
that this list was created to be against. If you want a Lorrahless list,
do this:

and type subscribe zeppelin-l in the subject

Then you'll get your moderated list.
