Opinions are like assholes, everyone has got them, and sometimes I think
this list has some too.....
Now that that is over with, please explain why you must sit there and
flame someone and make them feel like shit for an opinion. So I think
Cheryle Crow's version blows McCues.....or Vinods....should I get flamed
for it? No. Someone tells me they cannot stand Hot TUna, I feel badm I
don't sayt they don;t know shit about music. It's taste man, there are
people that hate Zeppelin that have as much knowledge about music, maybe
more so, then you or I put together. Musical taste has nothing to do with
a persion, we're all friggin Zeppelin fans for God's sake.....
THis is why these worst song posts are always a problem, people get so God
damn defensive over a song they like, that someone else may not. Well here
are mine in no particular order just for the hell of it:
and this will be hard...the truth is I like every Zep song, trying to pick
out the worst is hard
nop particular order
Four Sticks- bad memories of forgetting lyrics in CLeveland, but the song,
it's just sorta.....blah....
TSRTS- everyone thinks it's great, I think it sounds weak.
Custard Pie- too repetitive, some repetitive songs I like but this one
gets old fast, I do like the song labeled as "Custard Pie" on ITTOT
Moby Dick from TSRTS- too damn long and dull, although live it would be a
treat, boring on LP though.
Out On The Tiles- used to love it, I sometimes skip over it, don;t know
why
Down By The Seaside- everything except the middle rocking part is lame,
although I still lvoe the song
Wanton SOng- great song to jam to, but the studio version just is
repetitious
NFBM- I used to lvoe this, but the NQ version grew on me, this song is why
I got Presence.....Achilles and FYL blew me away more.
Fool In THe Rain- the studio one is ok, but there is a version on ITTOT
that on the first vocal take, Plant screwes up the end bad and it
sucks....kinda funny though.....the end part was recorded again and the
beginning vocals from that take were kept.
Poor Tom- drums are too powerful for the song and it ruins it for me.
