Hi, kids!
For the record, it was not easy to pick ten Zep songs I thought were crap.
The Crunge made the list because it's an incredibly dumb song which
showcases Zep's weaknesses; despite that, I happen to like the song.
Thank You made the list because, in the ~5,000 times I've listened to Zep
II, I've listened to Thank You ~ 5 times. Live, this song did occasionally
take off. There is a version from New York in either '71 or '73 where
Plant sings "We gotta go now" and the crowd responds with a NOOOOOO! --
this version gives me chills.
I, too, like Hats Off to Roy Harper, and I like the longer version that
showed up on Jennings Farm Blues (?) (or whatever boot that is). It makes
for cool listening. However, it is a stupid *song*.
I'll stand by the other seven I picked.
Remember, that post was supposed to be funny.
