This would be interesting......but since I can't include more then one zep
member, I decided to do this:

Jimmy Page (rhythym and lead guitars)
Jorma Kaukonen (whythyum and lead, as well as vocals)
Jack Casady (Bass)
Keith Moon (drums)

although Jorma is not the best vocalist in the world, he is an incredible
guitar player, and so is Jimmy, I really couldn;t pick one over the other
when trying to figure out who should do rhythym and who should do
lead.....and although both have various different styles that are ntohing
alike, they both have blues in common. when doing blues with an acoustic
rhythm, I think Jorma would be the best choice for rhythym guitar, with
Jimmy on lead, because Jorma has a distinctive acoustic fingerpicking
style to his playing which is just magic. when doing electric blues, Jimmy
on rhythym and Jorma on lead......listen to Jimmy's rhythym on "Tribute to
Elmore"...it's just incredible. And both are great lead guitarists
too....although the Airplane didn;t do blues often, next time you hear
"Somebody to Love" or "White Rabbit" listen to the lead guitar and tell me
that the guy is not good. And to think that all he ever does is
fingerpick (at least nowadays) and is remarkable at it.

Jack Casady, also from the Airplane/Tuna camp, has been cited by Paul
McCartney as his favorite bass player, and Robert Plant has spoken fondly
of his playing on a couple occaisions.....he just does a good solid
thumping bass....and does this cool thing with his eyebrows. Although his
bass doesn't stand out nearly as much as Jimma or Jorma's guitars.....if
anyone has heard "Hey Frederick" from JA's "Volunteers" and heard some of
the bass lines during the jam at the end.....you'll understand.

Keith Moon- the guy is crazy.....someone once pointed out that this guy
and Bonzo were the inspiration for Animal of the muppets......a close
second would be the guy from Cream....whose name escapes me at the moment.
But the guy is incredible.
