Here's another possibility:
> To jeodardize the course, upset the brunt
I can't even figure something out that makes sense for this line:
> Within their wall, their daunting formless keep
To be honest, it sounds like:
> Within the wall, there's no need for mesquite
(It's a BBQ song! YEEEAAAAAAHH!)
Here's a nit-nit-NIT-picking observation: it's not "to", it's "into":
> Just turn a coin, bring order into the fray
^^
And I hear all variations of the following now:
> Who called the bane that made them stay as planned
> No one there in heaven could (they) ever reach
> No one bearing empathy could ever reach
I do hear an extra syllable in there (see where I added the "they"...)
Actually, I think it makes more sense with that "they" in there, too.
Finally, I don't hear:
>They had to stay
(though it fits with other proposed lyrics.) I hear:
> They/I had no scar/star
Whelp, figurin them dern leerics out is nay imposseebil.

Anyone who's listened to a Guitar Center add, read a rock-guitar rag, or
heard a radio spot for the G^3 concerts can laugh at this bit o' guitar-
industry phlegm. ack! <Better send away for my Perfect Pitch (tm) tapes
before I get my new Paul!> or is it just me........
