On a related note, a while back ('bout half a year or more) I asked
everyone what LZ references they had seen in movies or on TV, and started
to compile them.  Here's what I have.  These are movies unless it says
otherwise:

_Wayne?s World_ - Wayne plays opening notes of Stairway in guitar store
"Stairway denied!"
_Wayne?s World 2_ - Garth?s T-shirt, picture of roadie w/ LZ, RP does
?Louie, Louie? for soundtrack.
_Fast Times At Ridgemont High_ - Kashmir plays in car, mention of first
side of LZ ?4? as the best make out music.
_The Client_ - The kid is a big LZ fan, lots of mentions: albums, group
history,T-shirt
_The Rock_ - Sean Connery?s character is mentioned as having met his
daughter?s mother after a LZ concert.
_Rock & Roll High School_ - name mentioned
_Dazed and Confused_ - John Bonham mentioned
TV show "Mysery Science Theater 3000 - Numerous, mentions John Bonham and
'Moby Dick' at one point.
TV show "Tiny Toons" - Buster plays guitar and disturbs a mean folk
singer, asks folky if he wants to hear Stairway.
TV show "Frasier" - Frasier?s dad drinks Ballantine Beer (same as Bonzo?s
symbol)
TV show "Beavis and Butthead" - OTHAFA/ C/P?s Pride and Joy are played
TV show "The Brady Bunch Variety (?) Show" - mentions name (Marsha has an
LZ record ruined)
TV show "Maude" - Teenagers? party plays ?The Ocean'
Brit. show "Comic Strip" - skit ?Bad News? mentions JP & Stairway
Brit. show "Rock Follies" - plays Immigrant Song, discusses
Brit. Show "Top of the Pops" - WLL instrumental intro/theme 
Brit. show "Absulutely Fabulous" - Saffron flips through LZ I record
while pouting.
TV show "Moonlighting" - Bruce Willis? character requests Stairway
performed live for his execution.
TV show "Make Me Laugh" - introduced host as 'from the darkest depths of
Mordor...'
TV show "Viva Variety" - had a mock game show 'Plant or Animal' where
contestant has to tell if a noise is made by RP or an animal.
TV show "Kids In The Hall" - A bar fight is averted when one fighter
recognizes the LZ T-shirt worn by the other.  They become fast friends.
TV show "News Radio" - Periodically titles episodes after LZ albums
