I would like to comment on the Song Remains The Same. I hear alot of bashing
of this release. Although, I must say there are some awsome moments on the
TSRTS. For one, I think Rock N Roll rocks and the lead guitar at the end of
Celebration Day kicks butt.
I have qiute a few Led Zep boots but I think there are few shows that surpass
the opening of Rock N Roll and Celebration Day and the Song Remains the same
and Rain Song combos on the TSRTS. Hard to beat.
I also, love the middle part of No Quarter where Bonham comes back into the
song. My two favorties moments are actually this part and the guitar solo at
the end of Celebration Day. Although, I have never heard them performed in
the same way on any boots. Maybe they are overdubbs? Anyway they rock.
